Summer supper success
On Friday 27 June, over 40 people gathered for the first ever Sulham and Tidmarsh parish supper, impeccably organised by Richard and Rosemary Thomas.
Held in one of Sulham Estate's barns, which had been cleaned and "dressed" with appropriate farming equipment by John and Charlie, the event is hopefully the first of many to come.
Rosemary's home made pâté was followed by paella cooked in a 6 foot dish propped over an open fire. Nobody went short as seconds, or even thirds for some, were available!
Grateful thanks from all who attended to Richard and Rosemary for the idea and setting everything up, John, Charlie and Sulham Estate for the venue and hosting, and, of course, the cooks who slaved over the open pit using garden hoes to work their magic.
